OUR STORY

In 2015 in the City of Columbus Ohio after a revival service, a young man went to get tacos and encountered a man that was experiencing homelessness. The young man called our founder Ed and when he came to meet the man he was so drunk that he did not remember who he was, he relied so much on alcohol so much that when he was sober he would get seizures. Ed cared for this man for 3 days helping him get sober and  he spent the rest of the time in the hospital to the point of being able to get him in touch with his family that helped him continue his recovery. This story reminded Ed of his grandfather who struggled with alcoholism and would be lost and experienced homelessness. Ed thought what if I could make a difference in this world and help reach out to people before getting to this point of substance abuse and homelessness. CORE is all about bringing Humanity to those in need.
